When it comes to pricing, once you tell us exactly what you need, we give competitive pricing for the high level of equipment and experience we offer. Call or email for rates and feel free to talk to us about the budget you’re working with.
We will need details of the shoot location so we can check whether there are any airspace restrictions. We’ll work out a date with you until you’re ready to confirm.
Do we need a technical recce?
We recommend a recce so we can guarantee flight. Conversations with the production team and photographs help guide our understanding so we are ready come the day of the shoot. We seek to understand things like:
Site line
Safe places for take off and landing
Obstacles
Frequency interference
Vehicle access
Type of ground surface for low flying
What weather conditions can we fly in?
We get around 15-20 minutes of flight with our standard setup. Flight times depend on the climate conditions and average speed of flight, so they will vary. We carry enough batteries and charging equipment to allow us to go all day without running out of power. It takes a few minutes to change flight packs between flights and we ask you to allow time for us to keep on top of our battery system and post flight checks to keep everything running smoothly.
How long can we fly for?
We get around 8 to 10 minutes of flight with a standard heavy lift setup. Flight times depend on the payload, conditions and speed so they will vary. What are the flight restrictions?
Our CAA allows us to fly up to 400 feet and 500 metres away in line of sight from where we’re operating. We can operate as close as 50m to people, buildings, roads etc outside our control.
What equipment do we use?
Our equipment is always the latest and greatest. Currently clients are being assigned the DJI Inspire 2 with X7 cinema package (20 minute flight time, 6K RAW, excellent lenses).
Can we fly outside the UK?
Yes we can. We've flown drones in locations spread across the globe. Most countries have their own set of Drone regulations and we are usually able to attain local permission ourselves or commonly through Production.
We have 4 checked in bags and 1 hand baggage. Our batteries always travel as hand baggage.
